I don’t know if any of you noticed this or not, but when we were out this weekend grocery shopping and I noticed two things: (1) there were more than double the men out shopping than usual and (2) the snack aisle was already getting bare and it was only Saturday early in the day.
There’s only one explanation for this phenomenon, and I realize now what it is – today is Superbowl Sunday!!
Are you ready? If not, there’s still time to dash out and pick up something but before you do, let me tell you about Southern Recipe’s amazing pork rinds. You already know that pork rinds are the perfect traditional southern food, but did you also know that pork rinds are a high protein, no carb snack? In fact, higher protein than peanuts and well, a heck of a lot crunchier and tastier!
Southern Recipe isn’t just about the rind, they also offer snack rings, cheesy curls and cracklins with the same southern quality that real men eat … at work and at play. That’s why we’re known across the country as the tastiest snack in the South.
Find your favorite rind here or buy online now. Crunch on!! Be sure to head over to Facebook, Twitter or Instagram to connect with Southern Recipe is and to learn more about them.
I was provided with complimentary bags of pork rinds in exchange for this post. They were amazing and very tasty so I’m sure I got the better end of the deal!
