Dr. Ben Carson says… “Many people do not believe in miracles. Both Mark Victor Hansen and I have experienced or witnessed many miracles. His descriptions of these events in this book will help all readers, including skeptics, believe in those inexplicable, non-tangible aspects of humanity.” —Ben Carson, MD, New York Times Bestseller of One Nation Believe The Miracle. See The Miracle. Be The Miracle.

Did you know that you are a miracle? Or that your life can be a miracle to people around you or even on the other side of the world? Inspired by the powerful, true stories in The Miracles in You – Recognizing God’s Amazing Work in You and Through You, you will begin noticing the amazing wonders in everyday life. And you’ll see how God works His miracles through ordinary people–including you!  – Mark Victor Hansen, #1 New York Times Best-selling Co-Author of Chicken Soup series of books.

I love anything to do with the topic of miracles, big or small. The book starts out reminding us how many miracles are listed in the Bible, both big and small. People go through life seeing and living miracles right in front of their eyes, but because they aren’t labeled miracles or huge miracles like the parting of the Red Sea, they are often missed. Often people believe in coincidences instead of attributing them to the miracles that they are. God is in the business of miracles in the lives of all of His children.

I completely believe in God’s miracles – big and small. In fact, I’m probably the biggest walking miracle that I know.  I was involved in an automobile accident on the highway here in Florida. When the accident was first called in by the Florida Highway Patrol, it was a “probable fatality” but yet I lived. Doctors told me I’d be lucky to walk by late spring, but would certainly never run again. Again, God graced me with His miracles, and by the end of February I walked and completed a local 5k. By that fall, I was able to walk/run my first half marathon, and I’ve done almost two dozen half marathons since. (See “My Story” for full details.) To push this continuing miracle a step further, 2015 is the year that I will complete a full marathon, to which I say Thank You God for all of the miracles bestowed upon my life! I am certainly blessed!

People need to realize that God works in each of us, he sends miracles in our direction every day. There are famous accounts of miracles in people’s lives and then there are other miracle stories that aren’t so famous but they are all very real. The Miracles in You – Recognizing God’s Amazing Work in You and Through You is broken into three parts: Believe the miracle, See the miracle and Be the miracle.

Author Mark Victor Hansen urges us to not only believe in the miracles by understanding them, but also to see the miracles by focusing on them and looking for them and even expecting them. Hansen then shows us how we are called to make miracles by recognizing God’s work in each of us. This book encourages and inspires us, and also reminds us to remember the miracles in our own lives along with the positive impact we can have on others. The book is very easy to read and there are several personal stories included. When we listen to God’s calling for us, we will realize the influential miracle in store.
